New scientific study suggests you ‘literally can’t have enough Vitamin D in your body.’
AMHERST—Following a largely secretive six-month study, a group of scientists has discovered that there is no limit to the amount of Vitamin D you can pump into your body. “Frankly, we’re astounded,” Dr. Thomas Hardy, the study’s lead scientist, told us in a Skype interview. “We reached a certain point in the study when we thought, ‘we can’t possibly put anymore Vitamin D into this subject,’ and then we did.”
The subjects, volunteers from a local community college who were promised Chik-Fil-A coupons for their participation, were excited to be part of such an important milestone in science. ”They would ask me questions like, ‘is it okay if we replace all of the blood in your body with Vitamin D?’ Sure, you know, as long as I get my coupon,” a student volunteer majoring in communications told us. The findings from the study will be used mostly to encourage local radio stations to hold ‘who can take in the most vitamin D’ contests for Buckcherry concert ticket giveaways.
